Now Zebah and Zalmunna were at Karkor with their army of about 15,000; these were all that remained of the entire host of the Kedemites, for the slain numbered 120,000 fighters.<sup class="footnote-marker">e</sup><i class="footnote"><b>fighters </b>Lit. “drawers of a sword.”</i>
