Sefer Raziel ha-Malakh (Book of Raziel the Angel)
About this book
Sefer Raziel ha-Malakh ("Book of the Angel Raziel") is a medieval Jewish angelological and cosmological compendium, circulating from the 13th century. It gives the 22-letter gematria (aleph=1 ... tav=400), the triangular numbers, the 12 letters mapped to the 12 zodiac signs, the 72 names drawn from Genesis 1:1, the 73 divine names, and the 28 Malachim of the lunar month. The folder holds the Hebrew edition and a Spanish edition (both image-scan PDFs).
Relevance to this project
The single richest Hebrew source for the letter-astronomy the paper mines: the explicit 22-letter gematria, the 12-letter/sign correspondence, the 72 names from Gen 1:1, 73 divine names, 28 lunar-mansion angels/month, the planetary periods and the fixed (tropical) signs - the documented-construction backbone (Sec.6, Sec.9, Raziel findings).
