The Aleppo Codex (Keter Aram Tzova), c. 920-930 CE, scribed by Shlomo ben Buyaʿa and vocalized by Aaron ben Asher - the most authoritative Masoretic codex, the text Maimonides trusted as the standard. The complete facsimile of all surviving leaves (the Torah was lost in the 1947 fire; Nevi’im, most of Ketuvim and the Masoretic notes survive) is hosted as four 150-pp image-scan PDF parts (598 pp., 150 dpi).

Relevance to this project

The manuscript authority behind the machine-readable Masoretic text (the hebrew-bible entry): the codex that fixed the vowel and cantillation system the paper’s pointed text is computed from - the documentary anchor of the Hebrew letter-tradition.
