Shams al-Maʿārif al-Kubrā by Sharaf al-Dīn al-Būnī (d. 1225) is the classical Arabic grimoire of letter-magic - the 28-letter Arabic abjad mapped to the 7 planets, the 12 signs and the 28 lunar mansions, with the divine-name talismans and the jafr divination. The complete Arabic facsimile (604 pp.) is hosted as four page-range PDF parts (under the repo file-size limit).

Relevance to this project

The Arabic ʿilm al-ḥurūf ("science of letters") sibling of the Hebrew letter-tradition: the same 7 / 12 / 28 / 72 apparatus in the Islamic idiom, the cross-cultural witness that the letter-astronomy is a Mediterranean-wide technical tradition, not a Hebrew-only one (Revelations, historic-sourcing).
